On Monday, May 5, O’Hara Street is scheduled for several closures:
The road will be fully closed between North Bouquet Street and Thackeray Avenue beginning at 6 a.m. with completion expected by noon. Flaggers will be present to assist with traffic management.
The road will be reduced to a single lane between Thackeray Avenue and University Place beginning at 7 a.m. The road will reopen after it is done curing, which is projected for sometime on May 6. Flaggers will be present at each end of this closure to allow vehicles to travel in both directions by alternating use of the open lane. The flaggers will remain until the road is re-opened.
The intersection of O’Hara Street and University Place will also be closed during a portion of the day, the timing of which will depend on work progress. During this window, detour signage will be placed along the route.
