North Bellefield Avenue will be partially closed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, July 7. The closure will take place in front of the Information Sciences Building between Bayard Street and Fifth Avenue. The western sidewalk and southbound lane will not be accessible. Please be aware that Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) has also closed a portion of this block, which makes the front entrance to the Music Building inaccessible. Those needing to access the Music Building should use the rear entrance via Ruskin Avenue.
The area encompassed by the closure includes the bike rack in front of the Information Sciences Building, but there are several alternate racks nearby that you may use as indicated by the bike map.
Pedestrians should cross the street in advance of the closure. Flaggers will be present to manage traffic flow, allowing motorists traveling in both directions to use the road.
